Blessed are
you, Sovereign and Eternal God,
for the extreme love you show
in bringing life from death.
In taking on our flesh, and being lifted on the cross,
You have opened to us the way of grace.
For this and all your mercies,
we thank and praise you
Father, son and Holy Spirit:
