In good Lutheran fashion, let us ask "What does this mean?

Discipleship is all about discipline. It's about following someone's direction exactly - being like that person in every way possible, and working toward that goal. For Christians, discipleship is following a discipline to make us more like Jesus. It means listening to what Jesus says, and doing it.

Welcome to Peace Church! Our presence on the World Wide Web is an extension of the ministry we carry out from our little church on the corner of Caroline and Mount Vernon in the city of Rochester, NY. Our purpose is to offer hope and healing to all who seek it, through prayer and a deeper understanding of God's will as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.

Bible Study continues through the summer months, digging deeper into the book of Acts. We're seeing how the disciples of Jesus carried out his commission to spread the Good News from Jerusalem, through Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth! We've got ice cream, and a seat for you!

The Friends of Dan did a marvelous job in raising funds for wheel-chair repairs. Visit the site to get an update!

Feel the need for some limbering up? @ Peace w/Yoga is for you! Certified instructor Amanda Jacobs offers classes for all skill levels every Monday and Friday at 9:00 AM. Payment is from your heart to benefit the roof fund.
